Everyone in the town has been skeptical about 'Guntur Kaaram' meeting the Sankranthi deadline. In his latest interview, producer S Naga Vamsi said that the big-ticket film will, with cent percent certainty, hit the cinemas on January 12 next year.
The biggest surprise came when the producer said that the talkie portions would be finished by October 20. This is the kind of specific update Mahesh Babu's fans have been waiting for.
Director Trivikram Srinivas seems to have been able to wrap up the talkie portions fast in recent months, thanks to the extensive and elaborate scripting and pre-production earlier this year. We can expect the visuals in 'Guntur Kaaram' to be impeccable. Also, the story of the movie hasn't been altered beyond recognition. Only the emotional drive has been changed.
The film will feature six songs. Two songs have already been readied. One of them will be out this month, most probably for Dasara.
Starring Sree Leela as the first heroine and Meenakshi Chowdary as the second heroine, the film has music by SS Thaman.
