'Bubblegum', the debut movie of Suma Kanakala's son Roshan Kanakala, will head to the theatres on December 29. Since there won't be any big releases till Sankranthi after Salaar's release on December 22, the makers have chosen the date.
The film's teaser was released on Tuesday in the presence of Natural Star Nani. Roshan plays a Telanganite who falls in love with a sophisticated girl from an upscale locality. Maanasa Chowdhary plays his love interest.
A raunchy kiss involving the lead pair by the beachside is tastefully done. Writer-director Ravikanth Perepu seems to have relied on a trendy style. That said, elements like bold romance and cuss words don't ensure box-office success unless the story/treatment is robust.
Suresh Ragutu and Sricharan Pakala have done the cinematography and music, respectively.
Maheshwari Movies in association with People Media Factory are bringing out the film. The latter, owned by TG Vishwa Prasad, awaits the release of 'Sapta Saagaralu Dhaati - Side B' on October 27.
