A sequel to 'Adhurs' would be a thoroughly exciting idea. 'Adhurs' was released in theatres way back in 2010. Its comedy track involving Jr NTR and Brahmanandam has aged remarkably well. It is considered the best comedy track in the career of director VV Vinayak.
On Wednesday, at an event, Adhurs' story writer Kona Venkat said that he will make sure that Tarak does 'Adhurs 2'. "I am ready to go to any extent to make Tarak agree to the idea. I will sit out on a dharna in front of his residence. Nobody in the Indian film industry can pull off the priest's role as well as he could," Kona Venkat said.
He further spoke of his readiness to team up with his long-estranged partner, Sreenu Vaitla. "Cinema is essentially the director's medium. If Vaitla is ready to team up with me and if a producer takes the proposal forward, I am willing to chip in as a writer," Kona Venkat said.
