A human tragedy hit Tamil Nadu recently. After drinking adulterated liquor, nearly sixty men lost their lives. Kamal Haasan on Sunday sprang a surprise by blaming the victims instead of attacking the government.
The actor-politician said that the "victims will have to understand they have exceeded their limit and they have been careless". He further told the media that everyone is responsible for their own health. "My request to the government is to create psychiatric centres where counselling can be organized for drunkards. It has to be occasional drinking and social drinking. Anything beyond the limit is bad," the 'Vikram' actor said.
Kamal has been slammed by Netizens for insensitively blaming the victims instead of questioning the politician-liquor mafia nexus.
Kamal, on the work front, awaits the theatrical release of 'Indian 2' on July 12. Produced by Lyca Productions and directed by Shankar, its Trailer will be out on June 25.
