'Premalu' is going to have a sequel. The Mollywood blockbuster's sequel has been titled 'Premalu 2'. SS Karthikeya, who presented the first part, is going to be back in the same capacity.
"Premalu was such a beautiful chapter in my life. I'm truly grateful to my Telugu audience for making it unforgettable. Big thanks to Bhavana Studios for all the support and love. Excited and humbled to present 'Premalu 2' in Telugu, with even more love," he wrote on Twitter.
The sequel will hit the cinemas in 2025. Featuring the same main cast, it will once again be directed by Girish AD. The announcement came all of a sudden. It was not preceded by empty speculations by the media.
The first part has been streaming on Aha (Telugu version) and Disney Plus Hotstar (other versions) since April 12.
