Chalamalasetty Ramesh Babu, a Jana Sena leader, has warned of stalling the release of 'Pushpa 2' in Andhra Pradesh if Allu Arjun doesn't apologize to Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and Naga Babu. Speaking to the media on Wednesday, Ramesh Babu fired a salvo at Bunny.
"If you don't wash the feet of Chiranjeevi garu as a penance, we will ensure that your film is not shown at the cinemas. Chiranjeevi garu's appeal goes beyond caste identities. Pawan Kalyan garu has courageously stepped up his mission without fearing consequences," the local political leader from Gannavaram said, threatening to disrupt scheduled screenings. He added that the Mega family heroes are known for their acting skills and charity activities.
This is not the first time that Ramesh Babu has spoken out against Allu Arjun. Three months ago, he said that Bunny must do a penance publicly. "Without that, we will ensure that your film won't be released anywhere in the Gannavaram constituency," he said.
'Pushpa 2' will hit the cinemas on December 5.
