On its third day (December 7th) of release, 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' achieved a historic feat at the Indian box office by crossing the Rs 70 crore mark in the Hindi language version. This makes it the first ever film in Hindi to achieve the above-70 crore mark milestone on two separate days: its opening day (Thursday) and the third day (Saturday).

On its first day at the box office, the Allu Arjun-starrer minted Rs 72 Cr (Nett.), while on its third day, it amassed Rs 74 Cr (Nett.). These figures are just for the Hindi version at the Indian box office.

Furthermore, the Sukumar-directed period action entertainer has set a new record for the highest three-day opening weekend collection for a Hindi film. With a total collection of Rs 205 crore in just three days, 'Pushpa 2' continues to rewrite box office history. All figures stated are in Nett. terms.

On Sunday, the movie is expected to collect a higher amount than it did on Saturday. If the amount crosses Rs 85 crore on Day 4, 'Pushpa 2' will have another record up its sleeve for its Hindi version.

'Pushpa 2' is also the fastest Indian film to gross Rs 500 crore worldwide. This is for all languages combined.
