'Siddharth Roy' stars Deepak Saroj in the role of an angry lover boy who rages on and on. The film is going to hit the cinemas soon.
Director V Yeshasvi has been quoted as saying that the hero and heroine of the film participated in workshops to practice kissing scenes.
The film's trailer featured Deepak, the child artist of films like 'Arya 2' and 'Athadu', trying to imitate Vijay Deverakonda's angry personality in 'Arjun Reddy'. The imitation is downright laughable and frustrating. Kissing scenes and anger issues have to be driven by the script when the hero is new. Deepak is not known to anybody and therefore, the trailer has become fodder for trolls.
The upcoming theatrical release is spiritually close to Yendamoori Veerendranath's novels, the makers recently said. One hopes (against hope) the film makes sense like his novels.
