Actor Arjun Kalyan and actress Kushitha Kallapu are fronting 'Babu: No. 1 Bullshit Guy', an entertainer set to hit the cinemas on March 8. Co-starring Sonali, Muralidhar Goud, Ravi Varma and Bhadram, the film is directed by Laxman Varma. DD Creations today held its Trailer launch event.
Speaking on the occasion, artist Ashok Vardhan said that he has gotten to play a full-fledged role in the movie. "I am usually approached for comedy roles. For a change, I have played an emotional role in this one," he added.
Director Laxman Varma said, "It is DD Creations that has taken the film to the next level. I am indebted to the banner for the rest of my life. Producer Dandu Dilip Kumar Reddy garu never compromised even if it meant doing the film in three languages (Telugu, Tamil and Kannada). Arjun Kalyan and Kushitha have been relentlessly promoting our movie in colleges, etc."
Kushitha said that the film is a family entertainer that deserves to be watched in theatres.
Male lead Arjun Kalyan said, "I began as an artist doing short films and web series. I hope this feature film is going to boost my career. This is a trilingual film only because of DD Creations. Music director Pavan is a debutant with loads of talent. The plot of this film is not a routine commercial entertainer; this is a concept-oriented thriller cum emotional drama. What happens if your servants kidnap you in a villa during your weekend getaway? That's the premise of our film."
