Nowadays, if a film is wow for 20-30 minutes, it becomes a roaring box-office hit. 'Kantara' had an excellent 40-minute stretch. Otherwise, the rest of the film was not out of the world. It became a massive blockbuster because of the final 40 minutes.
As per director Sailesh Kolanu, 'Saindhav' has a brilliant 20-minute stretch. And that stretch is going to be one of the best pieces of cinema ever! If even half of what he has claimed turns out to be the objective truth, it is safe to say that 'Saindhav' will become a bigger grosser than 'F2'. And Venkatesh will have made a spectacular comeback. So, those 20 minutes will be the difference between Saindhav's hit and blockbuster status.
"The last 20 minutes of 'Saindhav' will remain one of the best pieces of cinematic experiences anyone could have witnessed in their lives and it’s just because of my man Venkatesh sir. To even think that I managed to capture one of the finest performances of such an unsurpassed actor is really overwhelming. I was wondering do I even deserved this much in life," the director said.
The film will hit the cinemas on January 13.
