For Jr NTR, Ramoji Rao will always be his first producer

Ramoji Rao, the legendary media baron and founder of the Ramoji Film City, is no more. Jr NTR said that he is saddened by the bad news.

In a social media post on Saturday, the 'RRR' actor described Rao as a one-in-a-million visionary. "Being a media tycoon and a giant of Indian cinema, his absence is irreparable. The news that he is no longer with us is very sad. I will never forget the memories when I was introduced to the Telugu film industry with the film 'Ninnu Choodalani' (in 2001). May his soul rest in peace! I convey my deepest condolences to his family," Tarak wrote on X.

'Ninnu Choodalani' came out at a time when Usha Kiran Movies, the banner owned by Rao, was making small-budget films to make use of the Ramoji Film City ecosystem. Films like 'Chitram' and 'Nuvve Kavali' were also made during that period. Jr NTR's first film didn't do that well on the commercial front.
