Sai Dharam Tej, who has rechristened himself as Sai Durga Tej, today revealed that he has taken a new step in his career. He has floated a production house named Vijay Durga Productions in the name of his beloved mother. 'Satya', the 20-minute short film, is the maiden venture of the banner.
"Happy to launch this with a precious association like "Satya" made with my bestest friends. To many more," the 'Republic' and 'Virupaksha' actor wrote on Twitter. He thanked his uncles (Chiranjeevi, Naga Babu and Pawan Kalyan) for their support. Tej also thanked Dil Raju, who supported him when he started many years ago as an actor.
Tej said that the banner was a "small gift to my mother in her name."
In the past, Ram Charan, Niharika Konidela and Sushmitha Konidela, too, became producers. The latter two are making small-scale movies.
