'Yamadheera' is the title of an upcoming movie starring Sandalwood hero Komal Kumar (as a gutsy cop) and former cricketer Sreeshanth as the antagonist. Bankrolled by Vedala Srinivas of Sri Mandiram Productions, its trailer was released today. The political action entertainer will head to theatres on March 23.
Also featuring Naga Babu, Ali, Satya Prakash, and others, its Trailer launch event was graced by Telugu Film Producers Council Secretary Prasanna Kumar, Telugu Film Producers Council Treasurer Ram Satyanarayana, producer DS Rao, and P Srinivasa Rao, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, Prasanna Kumar said that 'Yamadheera' is a catchy title. He alluded to blockbusters like 'Yamadonga', 'Yamaleela', 'Yamagola', among others, whose titles began with the word 'Yama'. Coming with the theme of EVM tampering, the film has been made with high technical values, the makers added.
Ram Satyanarayana said, "All movies released with Yama in the title have been blockbusters. Vedala Srinivas is a very good person. This film was shot in nice foreign locations without any compromise. Publicist and journalist Madhu is always at the forefront of promoting small movies."
Producer DS Rao said that the March 23rd release has got the potential to become a bilingual success.
P Srinivasa Rao said that the movie's meaty concept is in tune with the current political mood. He described the film's producer as a brave person. "If a person like him succeeds, many more families will stand in the industry with many more good films," Rao added.
Producer Vedala Srinivas Rao suggested that EVM tampering is a relevant issue. Shot mostly in Azerbaijan, the film has the likes of Naga Babu, Ali, Satya Prakash and Madhusudan in gripping roles.
