Producer TG Vishwa Prasad’s People Media Factory is making a film titled 'Manamey' with Sharwanand in the lead. Starring Krithi Shetty as the heroine, the film's first song (titled 'Ika Na Maate') was released today.
Shot in the sophisticated locations of London, what stands out is Hesham Abdul Wahab's tuning. The 'Hi Nanna' composer brings out a flavour of the vintage Yuvan Shankar Raja, while Sharwanand’s moves are confident, courtesy of dance choreographer Shrasti Verma. Director Sriram Adittya proves that he can stage lively songs well. For the unversed, the song is inspired by an original creation of Swathi Thirunal. Dhanashree Thillana is its name. Krishna Chaitanya penned the song, while the composer himself sang it. The Veena and the acoustic guitar have been used well.
Two cinematographers have done the photography: Vishnu Sharma and Gnana Sekhar VS. The film's dialogues have been penned by Arjun Carthyk, Tagore and Venky. Prawin Pudi is editing 'Manamey'.
