It is known that 'Ponniyin Selvan' director Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan are doing an epic action drama titled 'Thug Life'. In the ongoing schedule in Delhi, Simbu, Abhirami and others are participating.
As per the buzz in the Chennai-based Kollywood media, the film will feature the 'Vikram' actor in two roles with two different looks. It is an inter-generational gangster drama that will delve into the complex dynamics within a family.
'Thug Life', one of the biggest Tamil films in the making, co-stars Trisha Krishna (also part of Chiranjeevi's 'Vishwambhara'), Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Pankaj Tripathi, Gautham Karthik, Ali Fazal and Sanya Malhotra. Its music is by AR Rahman. Bankrolled by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R Mahendran, and Siva Ananth, the film will head to theatres in the last leg of this year. Recently, Dulquer Salmaan walked out of the project due to unknown reasons.
Meanwhile, Kamal's 'Indian 2' has been postponed from June to July.
