Actor Nithiin has suffered from a spate of flops in recent years. His upcoming release, 'Robinhood', is touted to be the most expensive film of his career.
Mythri Movie Makers didn't compromise on the budget despite Nithiin's string of flops. It's a gamble that hopefully will pay returns for the banner.
'Extra-Ordinary Man' last year was among the biggest flops in Nithiin's career. 'Check' was a disaster and 'Rang De' was average. Don't even talk about 'Macherla Niyojakavargam'. The track record of Nithiin post the pandemic has been a disappointment.
'Robinhood' is directed by Venky Kudumula. Starring Sreeleela as the heroine, the film has so much riding on it. Since the costs are high, the breakeven must be high. The film, to be released on December 25, has music by GV Prakash Kumar. The first song from the movie, 'One More Time', is not impressive at all.
Besides 'Robinhood', Nithiin is also doing 'Thammudu'. The film will hit the cinemas for Maha Shivaratri 2025.
