The success meet of Brahma Anandam was held today a day after the movie's release. The family drama was released in theatres this Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Brahmanandam said, "I am extremely happy that my son, Raja Goutham, is garnering praises from all quarters. I don't call this movie a comeback one. There was some gap. I am told the movie is running successfully. I thank the audience for always blessing me in my 40-year career. Playing emotional characters changed for me with Ranga Marthanda. This continued in Brahma Anandam. These roles have broken the monotony. For a young filmmaker like Nikhil, staging old-aged characters is not a small thing. The essence of Brahma Anandam is that a family has to prioritize collective happiness. Directors like Jandhyala, EVV, SV Krishna Reddy and Sreenu Vaitla knew how to do comedies."
Raja Goutham said, "More than a father and son, we are like friends. It was fun working with my father. My next film is also under Swadharm Entertainment. It's an action drama. We have already shot it for 45 days. Vibe is the title. I believe in keeping myself ready for newer opportunities. I have been working constantly regardless of the exposure. I have learned the concept of gratitude from my dad."
Director RVS Nikhil said that the response has been satisfying. "We watched Brahma Anandam yesterday in a few theatres. The audience were enjoying jokes even at unexpected places. The emotional quotient, too, is satisfying to the audience. I conceived this film and approached Brahmanandam garu before Ranga Marthanda was released."
Producer Rahul Yadav Nakka said that all his films so far benefited vastly from word of mouth. He expects Brahma Anandam to follow a similar pattern. "I learned that today, which is Day 2, evening and night shows are fast-filling ones.
