Rishab Shetty going all out for war sequence in 'Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1'

A war sequence in 'Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1' is going to be crucial. Actor Rishab Shetty is learning horse riding and sword fighting for the tentpole sequence.

"The training went on for months. The war sequence includes horse riding, Kalaripayattu, and sword fighting, all of which the actor has learned," a source has been quoted as saying by News18.

The story of the first 'Kantara' film, released in 2022, took place in three time periods: 1847, 1970, and 1990. Bhoota Kola and Panjurli rituals formed the film's touchstone.

Co-written by Anirudh Mahesh and Shanil Guru, 'Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1' has been shot by cinematographer Arvind S Kashyap. B Ajaneesh Loknath, Banglan and Prathik Shetty are going to take care of the music, production design and editing, respectively.

Rishab Shetty is currently also doing Jai Hanuman, written and directed by Prasanth Varma. Produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers and PVCU, the project was announced last year.
