"Step into the land of the divine," Hombale Films said, unveiling the First Look Teaser for 'Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1', to be released in seven languages in theatres. Producer Vijay Kiragandur and writer-director Rishab Shetty have plans to release the movie in Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali and English.
The story of the first 'Kantara' film, released last year, took place in three time periods: 1847, 1970, and 1990. Bhoota Kola and Panjurli rituals formed the film's touchstone. A dramatic story was spun around those elements.
It looks like 'Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1' is going to going to be set in a mythical backdrop where gods live. Today's teaser talks about a light that offers vision into the past, present and the future as well.
Co-written by Anirudh Mahesh and Shanil Guru, the mythical film will be shot by cinematographer Arvind S Kashyap. B Ajaneesh Loknath, Banglan and Prathik Shetty are going to take care of the music, production design and editing, respectively.
