‘Conon the Barbarian’ is an upcoming 3-D sword and sorcery film directed by Marcus Nispel. The film stars Jason Mornoa in the title role, alongside Rachel Nichols, Stephen Lang, Rose McGowan, Bob Sapp, Ron Periman, etc., in other roles. The film is set for release worldwide by this month end. This is a high voltage action entertainer which is titled as ‘Okka Veerudu’ in Telugu. Producer Sharad Joshi of Heera Films (P) Ltd., is making efforts to release the Telugu version along with the English version. The director and producers worked very hard for around 7 years to prepare the script and screenplay of this film. This is the most prestigious film made with a giant budget of Rs 400 crores ($80 million).
The plot of the film is: After his father is murdered and village destroyed, Conan ventures into an unforgiving world where he survives as a thief, pirate and warrior. How Conan battles monsters and destroys them is the film all about.
