Maniratnam to introduce Sridevi’s daughter?

Creative director Maniratnam is all set to start his new venture shortly, which is his favourite arena – an urban love story. This film will be made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. The reports claim, Maniratnam is planning to start this new project with Karthik’s (Maunaraagam and Gharshana fame) son Gautham as the lead. The film is titled ‘Pookadai’ (Flower market) in Tamil. Yet another buzz is that Sridevi’s daughter Jahnavi might make her acting debut through this film, i.e., opposite Karthik’s son. No official confirmation has been released yet, so let’s wait and see if the leaked information holds true.
