Dr Brahmanandam received numerous awards and rewards in his 25 years of film career with 900 films to his credit. For the first time in history of Telugu cinema, Brahmanandam, being a comedy king, was conferred an honorary doctorate and the prestigious Padmasree award besides entering his name into Guinness Book of World Records.
