Mahesh Babu and Samantha starrer ‘Dhookudu’ with a tagline ‘Daring and Dashing’ is all set to hit theaters worldwide on September 23rd with highest number of prints. G Ramesh Babu is going to present the film while it is made by Gopichand Achanta, Ram Achanta and Anil Sunkara on 14 Reels Entertainment (P) Ltd., under the direction of dynamic director Sreenu Vaitla. A press meet was held on September 21st evening at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad on the occasion of the film’s release.
Producer Ram Achanta said, “There are a lot of expectations on ‘Dhookudu’ film. The censor formalities have been completed on 20th and the film got U/A certificate. We have also completed the post production works on time. We are releasing the film grandly on September 23th in highest number of theaters worldwide with highest number of prints. Due to delay in final mixing and few other works the release date also got delayed. For the first time in Telugu film industry we are implementing the anti-piracy order act. This was initiated by the ‘Singham’ producer in Bollywood. We have put in lot of efforts to entertain the audience to the maximum extent. The movie is excellent and I’m sure everyone will enjoy the film. Hence I request all not to get into piracy act and watch the film in theaters only.”
Anil Sunkara said, “Dhookudu is a complete family entertainer. Apart from film chamber, our special team of 20 members is working against piracy act. Please inform us if anyone comes across the pirated CDs. ‘Dhookudu’ is a high technical value film on par with international standards. One can see the richness of the film on the screen. We are very confident about the film. We are sure that Dhookudu will be a blockbuster film in Mahesh-Sreenu Vaitla combination.”
Gopichand Achanta said, “There is lot of expectations on Dhookudu film. This film will definitely better than the expectations of audience. We are unable to state the exact figure due to more number of cubes and UFO theaters. However, Dhookudu will be releasing in more number of theaters and with more number of prints when compared to Mahesh’s previous films. In Nizam alone, the film will be released in 207 theaters and there are chances of increasing the number of theaters because the film will not disappoint anyone. The film is blend with comedy, sentiment and action in Sreenu Vaitla’s style of filmmaking and will surely impress the audience as well as the fans.”
