Tamil director Linguswamy, who is known for his super hit films like ‘Anandam’, ‘Run’, ‘Ji’, ‘Sandaikodi (Pandem Kodi) ‘Payyan’ (Awara) and ‘Vettai’ has now joined his hands with the ‘Premisthe’ team to produce the film ‘Valakku En: 18/9’. The movie will be directed by Balaji Sakhtivel with UTV Motion Pictures and Tirupathi Brothers Films Media Pvt Ltd., as joint producers. The same will be dubbed in Telugu by Suresh Kondeti under his banner SK Pictures. Linguswamy will be the presenter for the Telugu version and the film will be released in both Tamil and Telugu at the same time.
Suresh Kondeti said, “I earlier dubbed and released Shankar’s ‘Premisthe’ (Kaadal in Tamil) and Murugadoss’s ‘Journey’ (Engayum Eppodum) to the Telugu audience. And now we have acquired the dubbing rights of Linguswamy’s ‘Valakku En: 18/9’. I’m very happy to provide quality films to Telugu audience that are produced by sensational directors like Shankar, Murugadoss and Linguswamy. ‘Valakku En: 18/9’ will definitely be on par with our earlier films.”
