ETV Suman passes away

ETV Suman, the second son of Eenadu Group Owner Ramoji Rao is no more. The writer, director, producer cum actor passed away last night, i.e, on Thursday (September 6th, 2012) at 12:18 AM. He was 45 and survived with wife Vijayeswari, a daughter and a son. Suman was suffering with Cancer for the past 4-5 years. He was under doctor’s observation for the past few weeks and was being treated at Yasoda Hospital in Hyderabad. As per the sources of Ramoji Film City, Suman’s body will be cremated on Friday at Ramoji Film City.

Born on December 23rd, 1966, Suman completed BA at Nizam Degree College, B.C.J. in Osmania University and later went to USA to pursue Masters Degree in Journalism.. He was running Ushodaya Enterprises Pvt Ltd., as Managing Director of the company. His wife Vijayeswari is the Managing Director of Dolphin Group of Hotels which belongs to Ramoji Group of Companies.

Suman ruled the popular TV channel ETV for about a decade with his sensational soap operas. He created a new trend of introducing songs in TV serials, which was first of its kind on small screen in South India. His most popular serials are ‘Antharangalu’, ‘Kalankitha’, ‘Endamavulu’ and ‘Lady Detective’ with highest TRP ratings in Indian Telivision.
