Leading stars of Tamil film industry along with directors, producers, technicians and distributors went on a hunger strike on Tuesday demanding the rehabilitation of Tamils in Sri Lanka and an international probe into the alleged war crimes. The hunger strike was held at the premises of South Indian Film Artists’ Association in Chennai. Superstar Rajnikanth, Ajith, Surya, Vikram, Dhanush, Sarath Kumar, Simbu, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Vishal, Arya, Srikanth (Sriram in Telugu) and Namita participated in the hunger strike protesting over the issue.
