SS Rajamouli’s creation ‘Eega’ which shook the box-office in India and abroad has been selected for hri B Nagireddy award in the category of Best Wholesome Entertainment for the year 2012. ‘Eega’ is a 2012 romantic fantasy-fictional film written and directed by Rajamouli featuring Samantha, Nani, Sudeep and an animated fly. K K Senthil Kumar cranked the camera while M M Keeravani provided the music. The film was also released in Tamil as ‘Naan Ee’ and in Hindi as ‘Makki’. ‘Eega’ had already won two National awards in the catagories Best Feature Film and Best Special Effects. Now the film has bagged yet another prestigious award ‘Sri B Nagi Reddy’ award organised by Vijay Medical and Educational Trust. This prestigious award will be received by producer Sai Korrapati soon in Hyderabad. Dil Raju received it last year for his film 'Mr Perfect'.
