‘Payanam’ starring Dhanraj, Thagubotu Suresh, Vijay and Raghu Karumanchi and Akshay (Bhupal) in central roles has completed 40% of its shoot. Suresh Tirumuru is directing this flick and Basimsetty Veerababu is producing it under Tuhina Films banner with bandi Bhuvan as presenter.
Dhanraj claims that this film will be in lines with ‘Gamyam’ and ‘Vedam’. “There are no heroes or heroines in this films. All characters are important. This movie will set a trend in Telugu cinema. ‘Payanam’ is a story of three friends with a mix of love, affection and fights. Heroines are getting scared to share their screen space with us. The movie would surely earn a good name to Veerababu and Suresh”, said Dhanraj.
Thagubotu Ramesh said, “Music will become the main highlight. The output is coming out well. Everyone will connect well with this film as it’s based on real life incidents.”
Director Suresh said, “This is my first film. After completion of script work when I met a big hero he suggested me to add three songs. As I was not convinced with the idea, I narrated the story to Dhanraj. That’s how this film has started and completed 40% of the shoot including one song. This will be a different film in Telugu film industry. We are planning to release the film in summer.”
Producer Veerababu Basimsetty said, “Payanam will be a good movie with good story. The film got good mileage due to Chinni Charan’s song. Photography will be the film’s highlight. This movie will reflect the real lives of artists.”
