After ‘Mirchi’ hit theaters, Prabhas has kept his dates free for
SS Rajamouli’s historical film ‘Baahubali’ in which he will be playing Prithvi Raj Chauhan. He is already taking special training in sword fighting and horse-riding and also sporting a new look with a thick beard. Leading lady Anushka is also busy in getting trained in weapon fights and horse-riding. She will reprise the role of Samyogita in the film and Rana will be seen in a negative shade as Baahubali’s (
Prabhas) elder brother. ‘Baahubali’ has pivotal roles for Tamil actor Satya Raj and Adavi Sesh. It will show ‘Eaga’ fame Sudeep in a cameo role. It was reported that the regular shooting will start from June on the sets being designed by Sabu Syril. Shooting will take place in Karnataka, Kerala and Rajasthan. This time, Rajamouli plans to make ‘Baahubali’ in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi simultaneously. While artists are busy getting the required training in sword fighting and Horse riding, the captain of the ship is busy in designing the weapons for them. Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni are going to produce this film with a giant budget of Rs 100 crores under the banner Arka Media Works. ‘Baahubali’ has music by M M Keeravani and cinematography by K K Senthil Kumar.
