Tearful Last Goodbye to Tragedy King

Dada Saheb Phalke Awardee Akkineni Nageshwara Rao’s body was cremated at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad amidst huge masses that include film fraternity, political leaders, fans and well-wishers across the State. The last rites were performed by ANR’s family members at 4 PM today after the Anthima Yatra from Film Chamber. His 1980s heroines Jayasudha and Sridevi attended the funeral. The veteran actor was given the gun salute by the Andhra Pradesh government and a tearful goodbye by fans and family members.
