Marathi beauty Radhika Apte of ‘Legend’ and ‘Lion’ fame and ‘Rangam’ fame Ajmal Ameer starrer a sensational hit Tamil film is being brought to the Telugu audience as ‘Today’ by Srinivas Damodar, who brought huge films like ‘Ekaveera’ and ‘Vetadu Ventadu’. He is bringing the film under Alpine Cinema banner with Five Star Multimedia as presenter. Right now, post-production works of the film are in progress.
Briefing about the film details, producer Srinivas Damodar said, “’Today’ depicts the present conditions of the medical department. It describes many dreaded issues like neglected attitude and selling expire dated medicines that are happening in the corporate hospitals. The film also disclosed the anti-social elements who committed to medical mafia that happens in corporate hospitals. Beautiful actress Radhika Apte, who became hot topic in the internet with sensational news, has played the lead role as Lawyer. ‘Rangam’ fame Ajmal Ameer will once again reach the audience in different role. Prominent lyricist Kandikonda has provided excellent lyrics for all the 4 songs which were composed by Melody Brahma Mani Sharma. The songs were filmed at most beautiful locations. Sharp dialogues penned by Vasantha Murthy will stand out as highlights for the film. We are planning to complete all formalities soon and release the film in the first week of May.”
