Ravi Babu and Ravneet Kaur are playing lead roles in the film ‘Sitara’. A new production house Genus Film Factory has started this venture as their first attempt. Surendra GL is being introduced as director through this film.
Producer of the film Ravi Kumar DS said, “The way the director Surender Reddy has narrated me the story and the curiosity in the story have mesmerized me. I felt that it will be better if the film will be directed by Surender Reddy and therefore I have given him the opportunity. The film has wrapped up the shooting part which took place in Ooty, Kodaikanal, Hyderabad and Pollachi. We have made the climax scene with high budget without compromising. After completing all formalities, we are planning to release the film in the last week of August. Miss India contestant Ravneet kaur is playing the female lead. The rest of the cast includes Suman, Surya, Krishna Bhagvan, Kishore Das, Ghatikachalam, Chitram Srinu, DV, Reena, Ravi Babu and Paruchuri Gopala Krishna and some others.”
Actor Ravi Babu, who did lead role in the film, said, “Despite being new to direction field, Surender Reddy has crafted the film with great commanding on sets as an experienced director.”
“He is crafting the film in new angle and giving importance to technical values. Re-recording has ample scope in this film,” said writer Ghatikachalam.
