Kannada Super Star Upendra has extreme following in Telugu also. He has owned a special craze for himself with the films like ‘A’, ‘Uendra’ and ‘Ra’ and created a new trend with ‘Upendra’ which came in 1999. Now, the sequel for ‘Upendra’ is ready. It is being made simultaneously in Telugu and Kannada languages as ‘Upendra 2’ and ‘Uppi 2’ respectively. Prominent producer Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji) is producing the film under Lakshmi Narasimha Productions banner. Interesting thing is that Bujji’s career was started with Upendra starrer ‘Ra’. 14 years ago, he forayed into the film industry with the film ‘Ra’. Now, ‘Upendra 2’ is coming with the same combination. Upendra himself is the writer and director of the film. Parul Yadav and Kristina Akheeva are the female leads. Kannada version is releasing in this month i.e. in August.
Producer Nallamalupu Bujji said, “My cine career was started with Upendra and after a long gap I once again got the opportunity to work with him. The entire shoot of the film has been completed. Currently, post-production works are in progress. We are planning to release the Telugu version soon.”
