Shalom Studios banner which recently brought blockbuster hits like Mynaa and Saattai is producing a bilingual film ‘Begumpeta’ in Telugu and Tamil languages. Sriram and Lakshmi Rai are playing the lead roles, while prominent actor Suman. VC Vadivudaiyan, who directed the successful film ‘Thambi Vettothi Sundaram’, is directing this huge dreaded horror thriller.
Briefing about the film details, director VC Vadivudaiyan said, “‘Begumpeta’ is a dreaded horror thriller. Interesting thing is that the film also has huge action part. We have filmed the fight scenes of hero Sriram and heroine Lakshmi Rai with 50 evil spirits under the supervision of Fight Master Kanal Kannan at a graveyard in Panjagutta in Hyderabad during night times continuously for ten days. Those scenes will be hair-raising in the film. Some other sequences were also shot in few locations of Hyderabad for another 10 days. The film is being made based on the true incident that happened in Hyderabad. Prominent cameramen Srinivasa Reddy garu is picturising each and every scene wonderfully with his excellent camera skills. Music composed by John Peter will stand out as another big asset for the film. ‘Begumpetea’ will stand out as a different fil for hero Sriram. Beautiful actress Lakshmi Rai, who did super hit films like ‘Kanchna’ and ‘Aranmanai’, is playing the lead role in the film. ‘Begumpeta’ is being made as a never before horror thriller in Telugu and Tamil languages and will give unforgettable thrill to the audience. We are extremely confident that this dreaded horror thriller ‘Begumpeta’ will stand out as a blockbuster.”
