Arvind Swamy whose film Dhruva is gearing up for release soon is unhappy with Supreme Court’s order about National Anthem being played before the start of every film. The actor felt that it was not a good idea and wanted the SC to review its order. He expressed his displeasure on Twitter.
He tweeted, "With all due respects, Why should the national anthem be played before the start of a movie? Can anyone explain? I can understand playing the anthem where the country is represented or like a big sporting event with tens of thousands of ppl... Exits in theatres or in any place with so many people inside should not be blocked... anthem or no anthem, hope they review this decision. 1997, Uphaar, a very, very tragic incident... exits blocked... pl do not allow or encourage blocking of exits in public places/gatherings."
