Kannada superstar Upendra's wife Priyanka starrer Kannada super hit supernatural horror film ‘Mummy’ is being brought to Telugu audience on December 16 as ‘Chinnari’. Kannada version which was released in the last week became sensational hit and still running successfully with houseful collections. Baby Yuleena Pardhavi, Aishrya and Madhusudan played important characters. K Ravi Kumar and MMR are jointly producing the film under KRK Productions and Lakshmi Venkateswara Movies banners. Lohith directed the film.
On the eve of film’s release, director Lohith said, “This is the first film for me as a director. ‘Chinnari’ is a different attempt in horror genre. The film also has mother and daughter sentiment. We have wrapped up all formalities related to the film and the Tamil version which was released last week has got tremendous response from audience. Recently released Telugu teaser has received appreciations from everyone that it is gripping and stylish. Venu’s cinematography and Ravichandra Kumar’s editing will impress Telugu audience too. Ajaneesh Loknath has given wonderful music.”
“The film ‘Chinnari’ is a supernatural horror entertainer. Child sentiment is the highlight of the film. The film is set in the backup of Goa. Shooting part and post-production works have been completed. Ajaneesh Loknath of ‘Rangitaranga’ fame has given superb music. Venu, the top cameramen in Kannada, has handled the cinematography. Hollywood style of making and RR will impress everyone for sure. We are bringing the film to Telugu audience on December 16,” said producers.
