Back in the 90’s Nagarjuna starrer Ninne Pelladata became a superhit. The film which was directed Krishna Vamsi set new records. Tabu was paired with Nagarjuna in this love story that also dealt with family relations and had a huge emotional climax.
The Akkineni family is looking at remaking this film with Naga Chaitanya in the lead. Currently Chai is working in the remake of the Malayalam film Premam, a coming-of-age musical-romantic comedy. Apart from this film Chaitanya is also acting in a romantic thriller Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo, in which he is paired with Manjima Mohan.
In the remake of Premam, Chaitanya is paired with Anupama Parameshwaran, Shruti Haasan and Madonna Sebastian.
