Ram Charan and Samantha starrer ‘Rangasthalam’ which was released on March 30, is running successfully and is racing ahead to join one of the top 3 all-time highest grossing films in Tollywood. Undoubtedly, Devi Sri Prasad’s music is one of the main reasons behind the success of the film. Before the release of the film, folk song ‘Aa Gattununtava…Ee Gattununtava…’ from the audio album composed by Devi Sri Prasad and sung by folk singer Siva Nagulu has become super hit. DSP gave Sivanagulu this opportunity and even at the audio launch event DSP introduced Sivanagulu to audience.

But, after the release of the film, we see Sivanagulu voice replaced with Devi Sri Prasad’s. Sivanagulu was unhappy for changing his voice. During a media interaction, he said, “It was a shock for me that my voice got removed from the song. I didn’t know that ‘Rangasthalam’ team is replacing my voice. My friends watched first day first show for just listening my voice. The team should have given me the prior intimation about this.”

Director Sukumar reacted to this and clarified, “We have recorded the song with Devi Sri Prasad firsta and then we have recorded with Sivanagulu’s voice. The song came out wonderful with Sivanagulu’s voice, but it didn’t suit for Ram Charan’s body language and therefore we went ahead with Devi Sri Prasad’s voice. I am sorry if I have disappointed anyone.” However, the team should have given prior intimation to Sivanagulu.
