Veteran actor and producer Red star Madala Rangarao is dead. He died in star hospital in the early hours of Sunday i.e. on May 27 in Hyderabad while undergoing treatment. His body was taken to his son Madala Ravi’s residence for final tributes. Movie Artists Association and some Tollywood celebrities and some communist leaders have expressed grief and sympathy over the death of Madala Rangarao.
Madala Rangarao, who started his film career with ‘Chairman Chelamaiah’, had acted in and produced many films. He was popular for making films with social awareness. He produced many hit movies with leftist theme like Yuvatharam Kadilindi, Erra Mallelu, Mahaprasthanam and Praja Shakthi and many more on his Navataram Pictures banner. Yuvatharam Kadilindi got Golden Nandi award.
