Bonagiri Sekhar, a diehard fan of Chiranjeevi, has been surviving by selling mirchi bajjis in Mahabubabad. For decades, he has led the charity activities of Chiranjeevi's fan clubs at the state level. Varsha and Nikitha are the names of his daughters.
When Chiru came to know about their poor financial condition, he decided to render monetary help to Varsha ahead of her marriage. He has contributed Rs 1 lakh. On this occasion, Shankar Nayak, the MLA of the town, appreciated the timely help by the legendary actor.
"This is more than what relatives can do," he added. The money was handed over at an event attended by Ravanam Swamy Naidu of Chiranjeevi Eye And Blood Bank, producer and editor Suresh Kondeti, K Prabhakar Goud of Akhila Bharatha Chiranjeevi Yuvatha, and others.
