After Trisha's exit from Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya', there were reports that Kajal Aggarwal will replace her. But the latest reports suggest that director Koratala Siva and producer Ram Charan now wants to rope in Anushka Shetty.
The makers are said to be in talks with the 'Baahubali' actress and if all goes well, she will be pairing with the Megastar. The shooting of the film was going on smoothly, but Trisha's exit has put brakes on the team's speed. If everything falls into place, Mahesh Babu will also be a part of the movie. The Superstar will be reportedly seen as a student leader in this movie. The role was meant for Ram Charan but the makers now feel that Mahesh will be apt for that character.
'Melody Brahma' Mani Sharma has been composing music for this movie. The 'Indra' music director's earlier albums for Chiranjeevi were super hits and the expectations from this album will be high. Ram Charan has been producing the film under Konidela Production Company banner. The film is co-produced by Niranjan Reddy of Matinee Entertainment.
Currently, Anushka Shetty is awaiting the release of 'Nishabdham', wherein she will be seen as a mute artist. We will have to wait and see whether she will be part of 'Acharya' or not.
