Some sections of the media reported that Ram Charan is not an active producer for Chiranjeevi's 'Acharya' and he is not spending even a penny on it. They have further said that apart from Chiranjeevi's huge remuneration, Ram Charan will be getting 50 percent share in the profits and huge amount for just putting his name as one of the producers.
But Matinee Entertainment has quashed the reports. They said that Ram Charan and Konidela Production Company are "fully and equally involved in the production related discussions, monetary contributions and the production". They added that everything is equally shared between Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment.
Currently, the shooting of #Chiru152, Acharya, has been put on hold due to corona virus outbreak and the schedule will be revived once the situation returns to normalcy as the makers don't want to put the lives of the unit at risk.
Meanwhile, the team will be finalizing the female lead as Trisha Krishnan opted out of the film. Kajal Aggarwal is said to have been almost finalized for the role now. It is almost certain that Mahesh Babu will not be a part of the project.
