Cinematographer T Surendra Reddy of 'Adhinayakudu', 'Srmannarayana', 'Aa Naluguru', 'Pellaina Kothalo' and 'Jai Bolo Telangana' fame has got twin sons, namely, Vinay Tambireddy and Sameer Datta. The news is that the duo is now making 'Gully Gang'. If the former is its director, the latter is its male lead.
Director Vinay Tambireddy said, "I have taken a direction course in Chennai after completing Engineering. Later, I worked in the direction department of films like 'Jersey', 'Krishna And His Leela' and 'Radha Krishna'. 'Gully Gang' is a nice love story set in a village in Telangana."
The makers chose the entire cast from the Godavari areas by conducting auditions for 20 days. "We shot the film for 40 days in Ramagundem and Peddampet," they added.
Actor Sameer Datta has done acting courses in Mumbai and at Hyderabad's Ramanaidu Film School. He has acted in films like 'Rangu', '2 Friends', and 'Super Sketch' in the past.
Bhoomika, Prakash Rao, Mallikarjun Sriramulu and others are part of the cast.
