‘RED’, starring Ram Pothineni in dual roles, is directed by Kishore Tirumala. The film will release for Sankranthi next year. Produced by Sravanthi Ravikishore, the film is hoped to become a benchmark outing in the actor's career.
A suspenseful crime thriller, the film is touted to be high on love, emotions and mother sentiment. "This is my 18th film. I am looking forward to its release in January next," Ram said. "The intriguing story is dealt with a new approach of treatment that made the thriller a commercial entertainer too," the director said.
Starring Nivetha Pethuraj, Malvika Sharma, Amritha Aiyer and Nassar, the film has music by Mani Sharma. Fights and cinematography are by Peter Heins and Sameer Reddy, respectively.
