'Bhadrakali', a devotional film, borrows its title from a 43-year-old film of Jayaprada. Telling the story of a devotee and based on true incidents, the film's audio was unveiled on Dasara.
Seetha plays the central role in it. "This is the first time in my career that I am playing a goddess whose prominent nature is 'roudram'. The film has been made using the latest digital technology."
Director KM Anand said that the story has been written based on real-life incidents. He praised Seetha for playing the titular role with ease. Producer Chikkavarapu Rambabu said that 'Bhadrakali' will be in the league of 'Annamayya' and 'Devullu'. "The seven songs in the film are going to be evergreen," he added.
Sandhya, Manish, Tagubothu Ramesh, Dhanraj, Chammak Chandra, Chitram Sreenu, Jayavani, Ashok and others are part of the cast. Music is by Adeesh Uthriyan. Cinematography is by Vijay T. Dialogues are by Poluru Ghatikachalam. Lyrics are by Sri Guru.
