Senior actor Suman has remembered SPB's contribution to his career on Friday. Here is what Suman said:
"Besides singing for me, Balu garu also dubbed for me. It was in Tamil where my career started. And he sang a number of songs for me in Tamil. After I started doing films in Telugu and Kannada, he constantly sang for me. 'Annamayya', the most prestigious film of my career, was made special by his dubbing for my character (of Lord Venkateswara). He dubbed for me in 'Sri Ramadasu', in which I played Lord Ram. Even though he is not physically with us, Balu garu will remain forever in our hearts. I pray that his soul rests in peace."
