'Pudingi No. 1' is an upcoming movie starring Sampoornesh Babu as the hero. Directed by newcomer Meeravali, the film also features Vidyullekha Raman and Saphi Kaur. It was launched today in a grand way at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad.
Speaking on the occasion, the director said, "The story of our movie is amazing. The title is apt for it." He joked that he first wanted to cast Rajinikanth as the protagonist. "Since this is my first film, I put a leash on my feelings and cast Sampoornesh Babu," he added.
Producers K Srinivasa Rao and K Sudheer Kumar said, "The very title is funny. I felt happy when I listened to the story. The regular shoot will be kickstarted from today. Posani Krishna Murali and Ajay Ghosh have key parts. The film will release in June."
Sampoornesh Babu said, "I have known the director for two years. He is a passionate guy."
Kathi Mahesh said, "Sampoo is a gaurantee hero. He is a marketable star."
