Actor Suriya has been vocal against the NEET selection process. As per him, the new NEET rules are not in the best interests of the poor Tamil Nadu students. The 'Bandobast' actor has been vociferously condemning it and calling for its rolling back.
On its part, the Tamil Nadu BJP youth wing has said that Suriya shouldn't resort to lies about the selection process. Vinoj P Selvam of the BJP warned that Suriya will be taken to court if he continues to spread lies about the process.
The BJP suggested that Suriya has got a hidden agenda in continuing with the "false propaganda".
Meanwhile, Suriya is also against the amendments to the Cinematograph Act, which are in the proposal stage as of now.
