The Green India Challenge, which has received appreciation from Narendra Modi himself, has been undertaken with fervour by TRS MP J Santosh Kumar. The news is that Amitabh Bachchan is the latest celeb to take part in it.
The legendary actor, who is currently shooting for the Prabhas-Nag Ashwin movie in Hyderabad, has planted a sapling at the famous Ramoji Film City in the presence of Akkineni Nagarjuna, producer Aswini Dutt and others. "I am aware of this a long time ago. It's a great privilege for me. I wish him all the best. Plants are very important for the environment and our survival," the Bollywood legend said on the occasion.
A book titled Vruksha Vedam was gifted by the Rajya Sabha MP to the acting legend.
