'Bhoomi' is a short film directed by Raghavendra Katari. Starring Nazia Shaik, Arun Babu, Satish Saripalli and Lakshmi Kalyani, the film is about the sexual assaults on women.
Nazia Shaik today said that the story of 'Bhoomi' is quite new. "You will see the pain of a victim of sexual assault in our short film. Although the film was made on a limited budget, the output is of a high quality. Content is more important than the length of a film," Nazia added.
Sudhakar Komakula said, "I appreciate Nazia for picking such a novel story. My respect for her has gone up after watching the short film. The bathroom scene she has done is mind-blowing. She is a promising artist. The point touched upon by 'Bhoomi' gives you goosebumps.
The director said, "When my film 'Rani' got stalled, Nazia garu supported me. 'Bhoomi' happened later. The cinematography and music of this movie are as good as the editing. Arun Babu has done a great job with complete involvement."
Arun Babu said, "Raghavendra is such a cool director. I am happy to have done this movie."
